Terms of Service

Last updated August 24, 2026

These are the general terms for using the Operational Strength website and app. For the terms of the coaching service itself — pricing, cancellation, and so on — see the Coaching Agreement.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using operationalstrength.net or the Operational Strength client/coach application (together, "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

These terms cover the Service generally — the website, your account, and the app. The specific terms of the paid 1:1 coaching itself (pricing, cancellation, and so on) are in the separate Coaching Agreement, which you agree to when you sign up as a client.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By creating an account, you're confirming you meet that requirement.

3. Your account

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Give accurate information, and keep it up to date
  • Keep your login credentials confidential — you're responsible for activity under your account
  • Tell me right away if you think your account has been accessed without your permission

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Try to access another user's account or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to bypass its security
  • Copy, resell, or redistribute coaching programs, content, or materials provided through the Service
  • Use the Service for anything illegal or for purposes it wasn't intended for

5. Intellectual property

The training programs, written content, and materials I provide through the Service are mine. You're licensed to use them for your own personal training — not to share, resell, or publish them elsewhere.

6. Not medical advice

Nothing on this site or in the app is medical advice. I'm a strength and conditioning coach, not a physician. Always talk to a doctor before starting a new training or nutrition program, especially if you have an existing medical condition. This is also covered in the liability waiver you sign as part of onboarding.

7. The Service is provided "as is"

I do my best to keep the Service running reliably, but I don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the extent allowed by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Operational Strength isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. This doesn't limit the separate liability waiver and assumption of risk you agree to for the physical activity of coaching itself — that document controls injury-related claims specifically.

9. Ending your account

You can stop using the Service and ask me to close your account at any time. I can also suspend or end an account that violates these terms. Ending your account doesn't cancel an active coaching term on its own — see the Coaching Agreement for how billing and cancellation actually work.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to these terms

If I make material changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
